予約確定後にこちらからメールを送りますので、必ず確認して下さい。 6名様以上の参加ご希望の場合はお知らせ下さい。10名様まで対応できます。 このクラスでは剣術と弓術が体験できます。 指導者は、全日本戸山流居合道連盟の師範代である住田 嘉興。27年以上の経験を持ち、アメリカやヨーロッパ、香港など海外支部でも指導にあたっており、 世界でもごく限られた存在として、剣術と流鏑馬の両方を深く究め、伝承し続けている数少ない師範の一人です。 居合は刀の扱い方、撃剣は相手との間合いや攻撃・防御を学び、抜刀は刃筋（刃の立て方）を学びます。 ～当日の流れ：人数により時間は前後します～ ①デモンストレーション（3分） ②刀に関する講義（20分） ③稽古着に着替え（10分） ④居合レッスン（20分） ⑤撃剣レッスン（20分） ⑥弓術レッスン（20分） ⑦刃筋確認（20分） ⑧印可状授与（5分） ⑨私服に着替え（10分）
It's 100% worth the money and not a tourist trap. The instructor, Sumida Sensei, was very patient and carefully taught me how to handle a katana. In the end, the improvement was visible. I started as a newbie, and at the end of the class, I was able to cut a tatami mat, bringing me a great sense of achievement. Really is worth a try!

Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioners and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures. We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years. Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. Shinobi is the word which was commonly used in the feudal times,) The term "shinobi samurai" is not well-known, but you can be one of the few who knows the history and shinobi philosophy and mindsets. The shinobi samurai trained ninjas and lead ninjas as their mastermind. You will wear a ninja outfit to learn ninja techniques and learn samurai sword techniques and manners in samurai garb.

Let's learn a set of movements of our clan's basic sword techniques. Also, you know how to handle a sword and walk and stand properly using a bokken (wooden sword). 江戸時代に始まった天然理心流剣術は今も引き継がれており、天然理心流日野道場では天然理心流の門人が剣術の腕を磨いています。 あなたも実際の道場で天然理心流を学ぶことができます。 日野で天然理心流を修行した剣士たちは、幕末に最強の剣客集団といわれた新選組を結成し、ラストサムライと呼ばれました。 新選組のふるさと日野で剣術を体験することで、ラストサムライの歴史と文化を感じることができます。 体験プログラムを指導するのは、新選組幹部井上源三郎の子孫で天然理心流日野道場会長の井上雅雄先生です。 木刀で天然理心流剣術の基本を学ぶだけではなく、侍の魂といわれる日本刀を実際に使うこともできます。 侍の魂に触れる体験は、きっとあなたを変身させるでしょう。
閑静な住宅街の中に新築の一戸建てが道場となっており、チャイムを鳴らす事なくドアを開けて2階へ入るまではここで大丈夫なのかとドキドキしましたが、道場では増渕さんが優しく迎え入れてくれたあと袴の履き方からゴザを丸めた棒の切り方まで親切丁寧に教えていただきながら体験を進めていただいたおかげて、失敗する事なく畳を切ることができて嬉しかったです。 教えて頂いた井上先生、増渕先生もとても優しく、終始楽しく体験させていただきありがとうございました。新撰組関連の演舞などがある際にはまた観に行かせて頂きたいと思います。

We had a great time at this Samurai experience. We learned how to greet like a Samurai, a few attack and defend moves, as well as got to use a katana. The Samurai master was patient and very nice. We took some great photos and videos also. Overall it was a great experience that I would very much recommend.
