Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan.
We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioners and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures. We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years.
Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. Shinobi is the word which was commonly used in the feudal times,)
The term "shinobi samurai" is not well-known, but you can be one of the few who knows the history and shinobi philosophy and mindsets. The shinobi samurai trained ninjas and lead ninjas as their mastermind.
You will wear a ninja outfit to learn ninja techniques and learn samurai sword techniques and manners in samurai garb.
In a short opening ceremony, we invite you to have quiet time and enjoy the demonstration by our instructor.
Change to a ninja outfit and enjoy a hands-on experience of our handcrafted ninja tools and weapons.
Ninjas never used nunchaku, but kusarifundo. It's interesting to know the historical facts.
Learn the fundamental training that all shinobi learned, such as stealth steps.
Learn the basic training to be a shinobi
Learn how to handle a sword properly and how to draw You will gain knowledge only the real practitioners with professional interpreters can convey well enough.

| その他特記事項 | Our dojo is a training place. Refrain from talking aloud or touching weapons without permission or walking around the people who are training. The dojo is hidden on the basement 4th floor, make sure to use elevators No 1 or 4 only. There is no session available on Saturday morning. On Sundays and public holidays the main entrance of the building is closed, so use the east side entrance. |
