那覇市前島にある漆工房では、観光客や「時間はないけれど金継ぎを体験してみたい」という方に「簡易金継ぎ」体験クラスを提供しています。このクラスでは、伝統的な金継ぎ技法を取り入れながらも、短縮版で誰でも手軽に楽しめるプログラムです。割れてしまった器や壊れたアイテムを、金継ぎ技法を使って修復し、新たな命を吹き込むユニークな体験ができます。 「簡易金継ぎ」は、特に時間が限られている旅行者にぴったりで、初心者でも安心して参加できる内容です。壊れた部分を「景色」として装飾することで、個性あふれるオリジナル作品が完成します。 ただし、この体験で作った作品は簡易版のため、飲食用には使用できませんが、観賞用やアクセサリートレイとしてお楽しみいただけるインテリアアートに最適です。自分で修復し、独自のデザインを施した器は、世界に一つだけの特別な存在となり、家やオフィスに飾ることで、空間を彩る素敵なアートピースになります！ 本漆を使用した本格的な金継ぎ体験クラスも毎月定期的に開催されています。伝統技術をじっくり学びながら、時間をかけて器や壊れたものを修復し、新たな美しさを見出す体験が可能です。

雨の日に利用させていただきましたが、お姉さんがとても気さくで優しく教えていただきました！ 昨日も下の娘が心配でしたが、結果的には素敵な作品に仕上がりみんな大満足でした！ 雨だったのでマリンアクティビティの方が中止になっていたそうですが、そのスタッフらしき男性もとても気さくに挨拶していただき、今度はマリンアクティビティもお願いしたいなと思いました。 台風で中止になった旅行のリベンジだった事もあり、とても楽しく過ごさせていただきありがとうございました！

Our first day in Kyoto was a bit of a wild ride but nothing topped our chopstick making Experience. My wife and I were on honeymoon and weren't sure what to expect. The house took us into his lovely machiya and did his best to communicate with us despite his difficulty with English and our difficulty with Japanese. He was nothing but helpful and guided our experience. It was quite amazing being shown how to shape the chopsticks and polished them into their final product. We ended up passing around our phone with Google Translate and sharing stories which made the experience memorable

I loved having a special morning at the studio. I was picked up at the station and driven to the studio. The teacher had everything set up and he explained what we were doing today. He was very kind and approachable. He even played me music and we chatted while making pottery. After I had the chance to check out the studio shop and bought beautiful pieces. He will be glazing and finishing the pieces himself and will ship them to me. I couldn’t have had a better experience. It’s such a lovely place and afterwards he dropped me at the Giant Buddha temple. Very nice and will be recommending!

小３の息子と利用。場所が分かりづらく予約時間も迷っていて、電話すると丁寧に道案内、入口で待ってくださいました。ADHDの息子は案の定色んなものに目移りし、おしゃべりが止まらず困らせてしまったと思いますが…嫌な顔せず親切にサポートして下さり、息子も楽しく最後まで取り組むことができました。今度はコースターを作りに行きたい！と言うほどでした。ご家族でもカップルでも、記念に残るのでおすすめです。そこから、天橋立へは車で30分ほどです。
