Join me on a guided tour around Muikamachi, Niigata. Starting from Muikamachi Station, less than 2 hours from Tokyo, we'll cycle through Minamiuonuma's rice fields and Niigata's best spring water on our way to the Hakkaisan sake brewery, all with ease on e-bikes. At the brewery, we’ll explore the story and tradition behind this premium sake, connecting centuries of craftsmanship, heavy snowfall, and pristine water. We’ll enjoy a delicious meal featuring onigiri made from local rice (vegan option usually available). On the way back, we’ll stop at a traditional four-season Japanese park. We’ll return to the station by 15:00, giving you time to explore the local onsen or head back to Tokyo. The tour starts at 10:00 and covers about 20km. 〜Flow of experience〜 10:00　Departure We will depart from the east side of Muikamachi Station 11:00　Niigata Best Spring Water We will stop a bit to taste the voted best Niigata spring water. 12:00　Hakkaisan Sake Brewery We will visit the sake brewery, have lunch and explore the nature around the area. 14:00　Japanese park We will visit and learn more about a beautiful Japanese park and its history. 15:00　Return We will be back at the train station to finish the tour.

Join me on a guided tour of Daigenta in Yuzawa, Niigata. Starting from Echigo Yuzawa Station, just 70 minutes from Tokyo, we'll cycle through Yuzawa village and explore Japanese parks on our way to Daigenta Canyon with ease on e-bikes. At Daigenta, we'll enjoy views of rice paddies and mountain peaks, take a break at the lake, and then ride downhill through the forest and old village. An optional lunch at a local café is available. We’ll return to the station by 13:00, giving you time to explore Yuzawa's onsen town. The tour starts at 9:30 and covers about 15km. 〜Flow of experience〜 9:30　Departure We will depart from the east side of Echigo Yuzawa Station 10:00　Japanese park We will stop for a while, enjoying the four seasons Japanese park of Yuzawa. We may see some Koi fish swiming in the pound. 11:00　Daigenta lake We will have a small break to enjoy the breathtaking view that Daigenta Lake offer. 13:00　Return We will be back at the train station to finish the tour, you will have time to enjoy the local food from one of the many restaurants. Giving you the afternoon to enjoy the town of Yuzawa.

This experience is not only about drawing calligraphy but also study history of Japanese. Calligraphy expresses a person’s personality and gives a good insight into that person’s way of life. It touches the heart and somehow, clears the mind. I'll begin our session with an introduction to calligraphy and teach you how to write. After that, you will write your art by yourself. The session include the following activities 1.Introduction 2.Demonstration 3.Hands-on Experience It’s better to preparing if you have. 1. Black ink 2. Inkstone or black ink pot 3. Calligraphy blash 4. Paper You may enjoy the class even if you don't have them, but you will more enjoy if you preparing them. You can buy the items any online store. This experience is NOT same as offline-experience. This class is biginner's.

The tea ceremony is not only about drinking matcha and eating sweets-there are more important pieces that I will teach you. I will begin by giving an introduction about matcha and tea ceremony. Then I will give a demonstration by performing the steps. After that, I will teach you how to make matcha tea. Lastly we will Q&A to cover anything the class. The session include the following activities 1. Introduce by myself (I will sharing some of my pictures) 2. Please introduce by yourself 3. Health benefits of matcha 4. Lecture of tea ceremony 5. Performance (please silence 10minutes) 6. I will teach you how to make delicious matcha. (If you have some tea utensils, please prepare before the class. Even if you don't have, no worries!
