一般的にニホンザルはボスザルを中心に序列を大切にし、攻撃性が高い生き物と言われますが、淡路モンキーセンターにやって来る野生のニホンザルは、立場の弱いサルを支えるような優しい行動が見られます。そんなサル達を「淡路ザル」と呼び、優しい社会で暮らすサルたちの生態をセンター職員のお話を聴き、淡路ザルのことを知り、エサやりや観察等で癒される体験です。サルたちに囲まれ人とサルが一緒に記念撮影できるのはここだけです。！ 淡路島モンキーセンターにやって来るニホンザルは約350匹の群れをなし暮しています。野生のニホンザルで朝９時ごろに山からやってきて、餌場付近で昼をすごし、夕方山へ帰って行きます。 ここのサルはとてもおとなしく、高い寛容性を持つ優しいサルでこの特徴はとても珍しく『淡路ザル』と呼ばれています。 このセンターを運営するセンター職員が淡路ザルの特徴やこの集団のボスになる資格は、強いだけではなく優しさも必要であることなどお話を聞いた後、人がエサやり専用の建物に入り、外にいるサルにエサやりする、ひと味違ったエサやり体験もできます。（別料金：一回200円） サルが群がった中で記念撮影できるのはセンター職員のエサ撒きのポイントと優しい淡路ザルだからこそで、ここに来なければ体験できません。 文字型にエサを撒けば、餌を食べるサルが文字型になるのも、ここのサルだけの特異な光景です。（現地にパネルが掲示されています） 淡路ザルと思う存分に観察したい場合は体験時間より前に入園可能です。

龍泉寺で楽しむ日本の伝統文化—裏千家抹茶のお点前体験と仏教法話 本プログラムでは、龍泉寺の落ち着いた空間で、伝統的な日本文化を心ゆくまで体験できます。着物をレンタルし、着付けを学んだ後、裏千家流の抹茶の点て方を体験し、最後に日本語及び英語による仏教の法話を聞くことができます。 体験の流れ： 9:00 着物を選び、着付け体験 着物を選び、専門のスタッフにより着付けをしていただきます。着付け後は、記念撮影タイム。美しい着物をまとって、写真を撮影し、日本の伝統を感じてください。 11:00 裏千家抹茶体験 伝統的な裏千家の抹茶のお点前を体験します。正座で抹茶を点て、味わうことで、日本の茶道の心を学びます。抹茶を自分で点てる体験も可能です。 11:45 仏教法話 龍泉寺の僧侶による仏教の教えを、英語で15分間の法話を通じて学ぶことができます。仏教の深い知恵と心の平穏を感じていただけます。 12:00 質問対応 体験後、気になったことや質問があれば、僧侶が丁寧にお答えします。仏教の教えや文化についてさらに深く学ぶことができます。
