This was a great class. Kaori was a great teacher and we had plenty of time to practice our brush strokes before doing our final product. She also went through some of the history of writing styles. Great experience and would highly recommend this class. Kaori also premade some writings with our names before we got there on a small piece of wood and on paper in 3 different styles.

淡路島の霊峰、先山の山頂に伽藍のある1100年の歴史を誇る「千光寺」にて洲本八景といわれる洲本市内の景色を楽しみながら本堂へお参りをし、神秘的な静けさの中で「写経体験」を行い、非日常体験ができます。体験終了後ご希望の方は「岩戸神社」へお参りすることもできます。 「淡路富士」と呼ばれる先山は、イザナギとイザナミの大神による天地開闢の伝承「国生み神話」にて、日本で一番最初に作られた山であると伝わっています。先山の頂上に伽藍を構える千光寺で、お経を書き写す写経体験ができます。 まずは、約200段の階段を登り千光寺の境内を見学、千光寺の由来やお寺で行う全国的にも珍しい淡路島の風習「団子ころがし」が行われている場所も見学できます。また、本堂前に鎮座する狛犬ならぬ狛猪も出迎えてくれます。山頂のお寺だからこその淡路島の中南部を見渡せ、天気が良ければ、鳴門海峡、和歌山まで見ることができます。寺務所まで戻り、「大師堂」にて写経体験へ。 写経では一般的な般若心経を書き写していきます。般若心経のお手本の上に用紙を置いて、その上から筆ペンで書き写していきます。初心者でもOKです。厳かな空間の中で字を書き写すことにより、自分自身を見つめ直す貴重な時間を過ごす体験ができます。写経はお寺に奉納するか、ご自宅に持ち帰ることもできます。また、体験後は、お寺を10分ほど下ると、天照大神が岩隠れしたとされる巨石を祀るパワースポットとして人気の「岩戸神社」に参ることも可能です。（本格的な山道ですのでご注意ください） 体験スケジュール(例 13:00〜の場合） 13：00 集合 ※本堂参拝含め境内散策（岡崎住職がご案内） 14：00 「大師堂」にて写経体験 （約30分から1時間） 15：00 終了予定 ※終了後、境内散策、岩戸神社に参拝も可能です(ご自身で)。岩戸神社までは山道を片道約10分歩きます。
