In Zen, we learn different ways to find peace of mind despite changing circumstances.
One of this methods is the tea ceremony.
We offer a tea ceremony experience by an instructor who understands the spirit of Zen.

The Highlight

The tea ceremony experience in this program is more than just a ceremony.
Japanese culture such as Zen, Budo, and tea ceremony begins with learning gestures, forms, and movements, but the importance is not just the form, but the spirit. Through movement, you will learn how to practice to reach peace of mind in spite of changing circumstances.
This is a program to experience the Japanese spiritual training method called tea ceremony.

Itinerary

1. Try traditional Japanese sweets that have been specifically paired with matcha tea
2. Go through the processes of Japanese tea ceremony with a nationally accredited tea master
3. Learn in depth about the spirit of Zen expressed in Japanese art and architecture
4. Make tea through the traditional tea ceremony processes yourself
