Relatively near the city but far enough from the hustle and bustle.
This rural area is equally great for quiet country rides or busting trails in the forest—with plenty more adventures to be found if you take a local guide!
What better way to discover the Tama Area of Tokyo, than rent a bike to enjoy Tokyo's nature and explore hidden spots known only to locals?
Covering 10 kilometers' riding, mostly along paved roads.
Visiting a majestic Buddhist temple in the forests through scenic fields before reaching an observation point overlooking the river valley.
Just an hour and a half by train from central Tokyo.
09:00 Meet up at base, choose your bike and begin the tour
12:30 Stop for lunch at a local restaurant (about 1,000 JPY)
13:30 Return to the base, take a shower and change clothes, end of tour
