This calligraphy class is located in Kamitori Arcade, near Kumamoto Castle and the Kumamoto Traditional Crafts Museum, in the center of Kumamoto City. A professional licensed instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience will teach you how to use calligraphy tools and how to write with a brush. Enjoy traditional culture like a local in a Japanese-style room that feels like a Japanese home, while looking out at the Japanese garden. It's a valuable experience that can only be had in Japan! Everyone is welcome, regardless of nationality, as well as Japanese people. I can speak Japanese and basic English, but I will use a translator if necessary.
