Tsurui Village, located in Eastern Hokkaido, is one of the best places to observe the majestic red-crowned cranes, designated as a Special Natural Monument of Japan.Join our experienced guides from Picchio Shiretoko to witness the breathtaking sight of these cranes in their natural habitat. Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive through the Kushiro Marsh, where you may also encounter deer, eagles, and other wildlife and birds.
With transportation included, you can enjoy a worry-free experience without the need to navigate snowy roads yourself.
An experienced, English-speaking guide will be there to support you, providing insights into the unique charms of the native wildlife and nature will take you beyond surface-level observations.
You can encounter rare wildlife, including the valuable red-crowned cranes, large eagles that only come from Russia during the winter season, and variety of other wild birds and animals.
