Even it is early winter, the scene is still stunning. No worry about not good at canoeing. Teddy San would take care of everything. The only thing you have to do is to enjoy all the scenes in front of you. As to fishing part, that is also good experience you must have in your lifetime. Again, no worry about whether you could catch fish or not, just drive yourself into the wild place and you would love it.
