After that, you will have the opportunity to prepare your own matcha tea. This experience is conducted in both English and Japanese, so you can feel comfortable participating. You can also enjoy taking photos in the beautiful garden before and after the tea ceremony. All items needed for kimono dressing are provided, so please feel free to join us without any preparation. This experience is perfect for families, couples, and friends who want to enjoy a special and memorable moment during their trip.

Today, the spirit of Zen is highly appreciated around the world as an important part of Japanese culture. Through experiencing the tea ceremony—where this spirit truly lives on—you can gain a deeper understanding of Japan’s cultural traditions. For this experience, we use special tea bowls made from “Miyajima Osunayaki,” crafted by mixing clay with sand from Itsukushima Shrine and firing it in a kiln.
