This is an excellent class for not just learning the basic techniques of sashiko visible mending, but also to gain a deeper understanding on which methods work best for the types of fabrics and other materials used, and what repair is being made. We had several "aha!" moments in this workshop on how to choose the appropriate contrasting fabric for the repair and also selecting the appropriate stitching to integrate the two pieces. There was a lot of thoughtful design considerations and tips packed into this wonderful, fun filled class, and the time flew by quickly!

The class was very fun. Sensei Keiko guided us all along the way to making our sashiko samples. Along the way we learned about sashko and different techniques to use. We hope to return again for another class!

It was so fun learning how to do sashiko. The teacher was very friendly and professional, and took time with each student to help us
